Myths and Legends of China - Wai's Poor Translation

Blog still on hiatus.

I am still on hiatus.  I have other blogs and I just realized one of my other blog is only opened to readers by invite only.  I forgot when I set a setting like that on one of my blog.  I still haven't continue reading the myths and legends book as I am now reading some other novels.  Please check out my other blogs if you are able to find them.  Oh yeah,  we've been ordered to stay home and practice social distancing due to the recent pandemic known as COVID-19. I am sitting at home waiting for the latest updates; so far, the messages have been about the same.  So, if anyone asks me anything about COVID-19,  I'll either say probably no changes or wait for the announcements on April 5. Pretty sure any information I am able to obtain is outdated.

Dear readers, I will not be updating this blog in the near future.  I stopped translating when the transition got too difficult for me. I will continue reading the remainder of the book by myself. Thanks for your support!

Before story time, the south had a person named Bad God Beast; a descendant of Fire King; born with a copper head, an iron forehead, a human body with bull feet, an immeasurable strength.  Not only was his shape out of the ordinary and his actions uniquely weird: took sand and rock as food; but he also had the ability to create sharp arrows and spear.  Not only was he born with immense god power, he could also chase away ghost spirits and had all sorts of bad people as his underlings; and so, he conquered the Shoot* citizens of the south and became their leader which ignited his wild heart's desire to become the king of central. At the time the king of central was the Yellow King.  Bad God Beast estimated that the Yellow King's ability was not weak but, nevertheless, he believed he had the ability to defeat the Yellow King.  he thought of detailed plan to take the Yellow King's treasured seat. The first step, Bad God Beast wanted to first take his ancestor Fire...

Today is Sunday, March 11, 2018.  I spent part of my morning adjusting the clock around my domicile to Daylight Saving Time.  I haven't been translating as of late because translation is hard work. I also have other projects I devote my time on.  For example, a few months ago I wrote my first spin off companion (imho) children story in Chinese (obviously to a child's story written in Chinese  which I read in childhood).  I have published it online in my other blog which is mostly in Chinese.  I will set out the url or web address at the end of this post. Today, I will translate the story I have read many times.  I also loved all the illustrations that came with the story.  Thank you Ms. Ho(?), the author and illustrator. Just so you know this story is not in the Myths and Legends of China hence the title of this post being other translations - do not laugh. My humble translation begins now. The fire king is Divarm, according to talks he had three daughters.  The destiny of each of these three daughters was different from each other. One of them had the best destiny, when she was little the fire king had an underling who could control rain, named Zeshozi*.  This person liked to craft medicine and always ate "water jade"; after quite a number of days the body began to change, in the end jumped into the center of a big fire to let their body burn and turned into an angel.  The fire king's daughter trusted and admired Zeshouzi very much from an early age.  After Zeshouzi gained enough**, she followed him to Brocode Hill v. 2.0. and studied the angel's way in the rock house previously resided by Westqueenma; in the end, after eating the water jade and burning, she too turned into an angel; and continued to follow Zeshozi to cloud around the four oceans***.
